The Junior Police Call (JPC) Fellows gave a warm welcome to Yau Tsim District Commander Kwok Pak-chung and three teenage graduates of the first training session of the "Grooming Angel" programme at their Mess Night on August 30.

Under the "Grooming Angel" programme, the committee members of the JPC Fellows arranged professional hair stylists to provide hairdressing techniques to some JPC members so that they could provide free haircut services to elders in need to show their love and care. Throughout the programme, the committee members accompanied the JPC members to give them advice on career planning.

On the Mess Night, Mr Kwok was invited to deliver an opening speech to encourage the JPC Fellows as well as the committee members and JPC members to use their talents to assist in organising social service programmes.

The JPC Fellows was established this January to provide an exchange platform for its members and JPC members in a bid to facilitate the development of the JPC Scheme and serve the community. Former JPC members aged 25 or above are welcome to join the JPC Fellows. For enquiries or application, please send an email to jpc-fellows-pprb@police.gov.hk.
