The Police Community Relations Office of Western District (PCRO WDIST) ran a Fight Crime Day Camp for Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) students at Lei Yue Mun Holiday Camp on September 24 to foster the relationship between the Force and the NEC.

PCRO WDIST promoted the participation of NEC in a series of anti-drug and anti-crime activities this summer. In June, a high-structure rope course was organised with the assistance of the Police Rope Course Club while a Fight Crime Boxing Day was held in July. Other activities included the watching of a rehearsal of the Police Tactical Unit passing-out parade, a visit to the former North Kowloon Magistracy and Sha Tsui Correctional Institution, and anti-drug and cyber crime seminars. The NEC also assisted the Force to distribute anti-crime leaflets at various locations.
