The Police College hosted a five-day Smart Teen Challenge Camp (STCC) for 54 secondary school students under the Enhanced Smart Teen Project for the 2016/17 school year. A closing ceremony of the STCC was held at the School of Foundation Training on October 7.

During the camp, the students underwent foot drill training, leadership and physical training as well as attended lectures on juvenile delinquency and civic responsibility. The students thanked the instructors for the training and some of them wanted to be a police officer to contribute to the community.

The Police College has run the Enhanced Smart Teen Project in conjunction with the Education Bureau since 2000, with an aim to enhancing Form 2 and 3 students' self-discipline, self-confidence, team spirit and resilience.
