Sharing on corruption prevention practices & classical music

The Police College ran two Knowledge Management (KM) sharing sessions recently.

In the Beyond Boundaries Learning Series on October 26, Regional Officer-cum-Programme Co-ordinator of Public Sector Integrity of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Mr Wong Kwok-hung shared with officers corruption trends relating to civil service and public bodies as well as the ICAC's methodologies in engaging the community in fighting corruption. He quoted their Television Announcements in the Public Interest and television drama series as effective means to convey anti-corruption messages to the public. The ICAC is also exploring the use of social media to promote integrity culture to youngsters.

Meanwhile, in view of the great applause of an earlier session on "A Taste for Classical Music", the Police Band delivered a live performance for officers again in the Intellectual 40m series on October 12. The sharing session reached its climax with a grand finale solo performance by the Director of Music of the Police Band, Leung Bo-kun. A brief of the musical session and the recommended lists of songs and books are available in the KM Portal of POINT.
