Wan Chai District Council Vice Chairman Dr Chow Kit-bing, Eastern District Fight Crime Committee (EDFCC) Chairman Mr Leung Chi-kong, EDFCC members Mr Wong Chiu-yin and Ms Li Lee joined Eastern District (EDIST) Commander Graham Mitchelmore, Acting Divisional Commander of North Point Division (NPDIV) Cheung Hang-fai and EDIST Police Community Relations Officer Lam Kin-tat in mounting an anti-phone deception and anti-naked chat blackmail drive at Electric Road and Lau Sin Street in North Point on November 16.

Commander of Patrol Sub-unit 2 of NPDIV Poon Wai-ki briefed local residents of the trend of phone deception and naked chat blackmail as well as the Force's follow-up actions. Afterwards, the guests, in conjunction with Senior Police Call and Junior Police Call members and Non-ethnic Chinese Fight Crime Ambassadors, distributed leaflets to passers-by in order to raise their awareness of crime prevention.
