The head of operations of a bus company, Mr William Chung, and three other representatives of the company presented a tapestry banner to Senior Superintendent Man Tat-shing and other officers of Crime Hong Kong Island Regional Headquarters (Crime HKI Regional HQ) on December 7 in acknowledgement of their swift actions and professionalism in detecting a series of bus thefts.

Several luggage theft cases on airbuses running from the airport to the Hong Kong Island were reported in September and October. Crime HKI Regional HQ looked into the cases and promptly arrested two suspects. They were involved in a total of 11 theft cases and the value of the stolen properties amounted to over $210,000.
