Traffic Branch Headquarters (TBHQ) and Traffic Hong Kong Island conducted an Anti-drink and Anti-drug Driving Publicity Campaign in partnership with the Road Safety Campaign Committee at Lan Kwai Fong in Central on December 23. All Regional Road Safety Teams also conducted similar public engagement activities in bars and restaurants throughout the territory to promote safe driving message to festive celebrants.

Chief Superintendent of TBHQ Matthew Lindsay and Chairman of the Road Safety Campaign Committee Dr Cheng Kam-chung led a group of officers to distribute anti-drink driving leaflets to festive goers and invited bar customers to conduct a breath test to promote the message of "If you Drink, Don't Drive!"
