Commissioner Lo Wai-chung officiated at the kick-off ceremony of the Full Marathon Challenge of the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon (HK Marathon) 2017 on February 12, and cheered on Force members participating in various races of the event.

The Force runners excelled their performance in the races. Sergeant Lai Hok-yan secured the first runner-up position of 10km Challenge for Men's Master 1. In the team category, the Force clinched the championship of the Disciplined Forces Cup (10km).
