The Police Athletics Club (PAC) invited a Hong Kong marathon representative of the Rio 2016 Olympics, Ms Yiu Kit-ching, to give a distance-running course at Tai Po and Happy Valley Sports Grounds from last November to February this year. The response to the course was good, with 80 Force members taking part in the event.

The Chairman of PAC, Mr Kwok Ho-fai, and the Vice-chairman, Superintendent Tsang Fan-kwok, attended the last session of the course to lend support to the participants. They were pleased to learn that the running skills of the participants had been enhanced after 12 training sessions. They then presented a certificate of appreciation to the coach, Ms Yiu.

The PAC organises regular training sessions at Tsing Yi Sports Ground from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. All serving officers (including regular and auxiliary) and civilian staff of the Force are welcome to join.
