An Open Day and Opening Ceremony of North Point Pak Fuk Road Safety Town was jointly held by the Road Safety Council, Traffic Hong Kong Island (T HKI) of the Force and the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (HKRSP) (Hong Kong and Islands) on February 18 to promote road safety.


The event attracted a large turnout from the community, and the road safety messages were disseminated through games and photo booths, an exhibition and a guided tour to the Road Safety Town. Other programmes included a magic show by the Police Magic Club, a lion dance and a Chinese dance by kindergarten students as well as a Mongolian dance by primary school students.


Chairman of the Road Safety Campaign Committee Dr Cheng Kam-chung, Senior Superintendent of T HKI Kao Yau-ki, Superintendent of Traffic Branch Headquarters (Administration) Yip Siu-ming, Commander of HKRSP (Hong Kong and Islands) Dr Cheng Sing-fung, and the principals of the three supporting schools presided at the ceremony.
