The Incorporated Owners of a private housing estate in Tseung Kwan O and its management company presented respectively a tapestry flag to officers of Crime Kowloon East (KE) on February 23 and 24 in appreciation of their professionalism in foiling a case of "Attempted Burglary" and "Possession of a Firearm" and arresting four suspects. Superintendent (Operations) of Crime KE Regional Headquarters Chim Tak-ming and Chief Inspector of KE Regional Crime Unit Ng Chung-wai received the flags on behalf of the officers.

On the other hand, Kwun Tong District Commander Barry Smith presented commendation letters to two security guards in recognition of their assistance to the Force by spotting and preventing the culprits from entering the estate.
