The Singapore Police Force (SPF) sent two officers, Senior Staff Sergeant Chua Choh Kim and Staff Sergeant Abdul Rahim Bin Abd Karim, to attend a tailor-made Police Operational Driving Course organised by the Police Driving and Traffic Training Centre (PD&TTC) of the Hong Kong Police Force from June 12 to 16. This was the first time for the PD&TTC to design a driving course for overseas police officers.

The course covered a range of topics, including operational driving training, commentary driving practice, skidding and cone course training, emergency response driving training and traffic enforcement tactics.

The SPF officers showed keen interest about the course and commented that the training opportunity offered a good platform for Singapore and Hong Kong police officers to exchange experience and good practices on driving training.
