Knowledge Café on policing of public events

More than 170 participants gathered at the Police Headquarters on May 26 to attend the Knowledge Café on the policing of public events. Three experts, namely Assistant Commander of Central District (Operations) San Tze-kin, Superintendent of the Police Public Engagement Office Lai Hau-kwong and Chief Inspector of the Regional Public Order Event Investigation Team of Hong Kong Island Lam Siu-wah, shared their invaluable insights on handling public events from three dimensions: operation and execution, communication and liaison, and evidence gathering and prosecution.

The event continued adopting a hybrid mode of integrating speakers' presentations with a forum to increase interaction between the speakers and the participants. The video and the presentation materials of the event will be available on the Knowledge Management portal on the Police Intranet.
