Deputy Director-General of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department (PSD) Mr Zheng Dong led an eight-member delegation to pay a courtesy call on Commissioner Lo Wai-chung on June 14.

Mr Lo and Mr Zheng exchanged views on the strategies for combating cross-boundary crime and strengthening law enforcement collaboration. They recognised the result of the long-term co-operation and close partnership of the Hong Kong and Guangdong police authorities after an in-depth discussion on maintaining law and order in the two places. They would continue their commitment to safeguarding prosperity and stability in their respective jurisdiction.

The delegation also visited the Immigration Department during their stay in Hong Kong on June 13 and 14.
