A series of receptions were held by various formations in July to express the Force Senior Management's gratitude to officers in connection with the security operations mounted during President Xi Jinping's inspection of Hong Kong, the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Inaugural Ceremony of the Fifth Term HKSAR Government.

Kowloon East (KE) Region organised a number of Thank You Receptions between July 12 and 19 in its Districts and Formations. KE Regional Commander Duncan McCosh listened attentively to frontline officers' sharing of the difficulties and challenges in the operations. He appreciated their efforts in overcoming the challenges.

New Territories South (NTS) Region staged a series of Thank You Receptions in its Districts and Formations from July 13 to 19. NTS Regional Commander Lui Hon-kwok expressed appreciation to all officers concerned. He was proud of the officers for their professionalism displayed in the operations.

New Territories North (NTN) Region hosted a number of Thank You Receptions in its Districts and Formations from July 13. NTN Regional Commander Kwok Ho-fai described the security operations as a historical mission. He commended the involving frontline officers for playing a significant role in making the operations a success.

Marine Region conducted six Thank You Receptions from July 14 to 26. Marine Regional Commander Lam Hiu-tong praised all Marine police officers who engaged in the security operations. She attributed the success of the operations to the officers' high levels of determination in the execution phase.
