Two mentors of Project Starshine of Kowloon City District (KCDIST), Commander of the Police Tactical Unit A Company Tam Nga-ching and Commander of the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-Unit of Hung Hom Division Chui Wai-ying, returned to their alma mater in Hung Hom on July 7 to share their work experience with more than a hundred Form 5 students.

The students were excited to discuss with the two mentors about police work. The mentors encouraged the students to plan for their future and build up confidence in facing life challenges. The sharing helped to project a positive image of the Force.

The project, which was initiated by KCDIST in 2016, comprises a dozen mentors of inspector to superintendent ranks. Each mentor leads the students in his/her alma mater to share police knowledge with a view to strengthening communication between the Force and the students.
