Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) and New Territories North Regional Crime Prevention Office jointly organised a crime prevention publicity event at Light Rail Transit (LRT) Tuen Mun Station on July 11 with MTR Corporation Light Rail Service, Tuen Mun District Fight Crime Committee (TMDFCC), Tuen Mun Senior Police Call (SPC) and Junior Police Call (JPC) to combat sexual offences and guard against pickpockets in train compartments.


TMDIST Commander Mak Wai-man distributed crime prevention leaflets to passengers at the LRT station together with Police Community Relations Officer Choi Sau-kuen, Chairman of TMDFCC Mr Lee Hung-sham, members of TMDFCC, the Operations Manager and crew of LRT, SPC and JPC members and police officers. They also reminded the passengers to take care of their personal belongings on LRT and to be a good citizen to report crime and come forward as a witness to crime.
