With an effort to cultivate discipline and team spirit of teenagers, the Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB) has teamed up with ChelseaFC Soccer School (Hong Kong) and the Police Football Club for the first time in delivering the JPC Summer Football Experience Programme for Junior Police Call (JPC) members aged between 12 and 14. The participants would join football talks, training lessons and a two-day training camp.

Director of Operations Tang Ping-keung presided over the inauguration ceremony of the programme at the Police Headquarters on July 9, and presented football kits to the trainees. The technical directors of ChelseaFC Soccer School (Hong Kong) and ex-Hong Kong Top Footballers, Mr Leslie George Santos and Mr Chan Fat-chi, shared their experience and demonstrated football skills. Chairperson of the JPC Central Advisory Board Ms Lam Hiu-tong led five regional football teams to make a pledge to give their best in the programme.

The training camp will cover talks on police work and football competitions in an attempt to teach the participants the importance of discipline and complying with rules.
