At the invitation of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the Police Museum became a museum partner of the Muse Fest HK 2017 from June 24 to July 9. Muse Fest HK is organised by the LCSD annually to encourage the public to visit public museums.

To tie in with the theme of the Muse Fest this year on "Rippling", the LCSD has arranged a Museum Hopping Tour - a free shuttle bus service on June 24 and July 9 - to offer the public a unique cultural journey to visit local museums in six thematic routes. The Police Museum, together with the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences and Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum, were grouped under the "Searching in Times Route". The hopping tours, which linked different museums to enable visitors to re-visualise the past eras from a comprehensive perspective, attracted a total of 788 visitors.

The Police College will continue to exhibit the history of the Force through the museum to project a positive image of the Force. The current thematic exhibition in the Police Museum is "A History of Hong Kong Police Stations". All Force members are encouraged to visit the exhibition at 27 Coombe Road, The Peak.
