Project Torch members of Mong Kok District (MKDIST) clinched the championship in the City Orienteering @YTM Competition organised by Yau Tsim Mong District Fight Crime Committee (YTMDFCC) on July 15.

The contestants had to answer a quiz about the Basic Law and also identify community facilities. More importantly, they would participate in crime prevention activities and spread anti-crime messages to citizens. Officiating at the event were Commander of MKDIST Kerry Carew, Commander of Yau Tsim District Kwok Pak-chung, Chairperson of YTMDFCC Ms Chan Heung-lin and Acting District Officer (Yau Tsim Mong) Ms Chung Ka-wing.

The contestants interacted with the citizens in the competition and displayed a high level of team spirit. Their marvellous performance was well recognised by the adjudication panel.
