The 2017-2018 Yuen Long District Fight Crime Committee (YLDFCC) Briefing cum Yuen Long District (YLDIST) Good Citizen Award and Best Police Award Presentation Ceremony took place at Yuen Long Town Hall on August 24.

Commander of YLDIST Au Chin-chau, Chairman of YLDFCC Mr Lui Kin, Assistant District Officer (Yuen Long) Mr Wong Chi-wah, Vice-Chairman of Yuen Long District Council Mr Wong Wai-shun and other celebrities presented the Good Citizen Award and the Best Police Award to three citizens and 33 officers respectively.

The three citizens were recognised for their bravery and intelligence in assisting the Force to apprehend culprits. The 33 Best Police Officers were selected by the YLDFCC from over 200 nominees in appreciation of their professionalism and devotion in fighting crime and upholding the rule of law.
