A soccer team of Tuen Mun District was invited to join the first Tuen Mun Anti-drug Football Cup Competition held by The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) at Tsing Tin Playground in Tuen Mun on July 29. The event sought to disseminate anti-drug messages to youngsters and to cultivate positive values in them.

With the participation of five teams, the competition adopted a single round robin format plus a scoring points system. The guests included Acting Commander of Tuen Mun Division (TMDIV) Chan Fei-hung, Supervisor (Tuen Mun) of BGCA Mr Chan Kwok-bong and Tuen Mun District Councillor Mr Chu Yiu-wah.

Mr Chan Fei-hung was invited to give a talk to the participating students and their parents on the scourge of drugs. He taught the students to stay away from drugs lest they become hidden drug abusers. TMDIV hopes to solicit the students' support in spreading the messages to their peers to say "No" to drugs.
