The Central and Western District Council (C&W DC), Southern District Council, Central and Western District Fight Crime Committee (DFCC), Southern DFCC and some other community leaders presented banners, silver plates, souvenirs and thank-you letters to a number of Western District (WDIST) officers on August 25 for their outstanding performance in handling 11 cases.

Meanwhile, WDIST Commander Chan Yee-lai and other officers briefed the guests on the overall crime situation in the district. Attending the briefing were Chairman of the C&W DC Mr Yip Wing-shing, Chairman of the Central and Western DFCC Mr Yeung Man-lee, Chairman of the Southern DFCC Dr Chan Yuk-kit, Chairman of the WDIST Junior Police Call Honorary President Council Dr Lam Wai-wing, Chairman of the WDIST Senior Police Call Honorary President Council Mr Chan Wai-chuen and more than 100 community leaders.
