The annual Henry Shield Relay Race was held in the Aberdeen Country Park on September 26, with Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chiu Wai-yin as an honourable guest to present trophies to the winners. This year, the event attracted a record of 88 teams and a new category of "Challenge 150" was introduced. All athletes tried their utmost to achieve the best result.

The competition was intense this year. The titles of the Fastest Leg of men's open, senior and master groups went to Police Constable Tsim Hoi-kin, Sergeants Lok Ka-hong and Fong Chi-on respectively. The Police College captured the championship in the lady's team whilst one of their members, Inspector Tsang Yiu-ying, clinched the title of the lady's Fastest Leg for the fourth time. The Police Tactical Unit Headquarters continued to dominate the first two positions in the category of Special/Training Units and was crowned the Overall Fastest Team.

After the race, Chairman of the Police Athletics Club Mr Mak Chin-ho thanked all volunteers for their contribution.
