For the sake of strengthening the publicity of road safety knowledge and enhancing the road safety awareness of road users, Traffic Branch Headquarters (TBHQ), traffic formations of respective Police Regions as well as Radio 1 of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) conducted five road safety publicity shows in October at Lockhart Road, Langham Place, Lok Fu Centre, Tai Wai MTR Station and Tai Mei Tuk.

In the course of the road shows, Chief Superintendent of TBHQ Martin Cadman, accompanied by traffic officers of TBHQ and the respective regional formations and programme hosts of RTHK, distributed road safety publicity leaflets to passers-by. Moreover, the programme hosts and some artistes gave performances and conducted quiz games on the street. A variety of education and publicity measures has been adopted to enhance community engagement and public awareness of road safety so as to achieve the vision of "Zero Accidents on the Road, Hong Kong's Goal".
