A couple presented a pennant to an officer of the Police Tactical Unit (PTU) Z Company at the North Point Police Station on September 19 in recognition of his valor in saving their drowning son.

Earlier on July 26, the youngest son of the couple was drowning in a swimming pool at a clubhouse of their estate in Tai Wai. Senior Police Constable of PTU Z Company Cheng Oi-cho, who was off-duty and also swimming in the pool, rushed to the drowning boy and pulled him out of the water. As the breath and pulse of the kid stopped at that time, Mr Cheng performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid on the kid. Due to the timely rescue of Mr Cheng, the kid regained consciousness and was sent to hospital for further treatment.
