Director of Management Services (DMS) Kwok Yam-shu hosted the Living-the-Values (LTV) Workshop Wave IX for Major Formation Commanders on November 20, highlighting the significance of upholding the Force Values by all Force members. He elaborated on a proverb, "The righteous person is watchful over himself even when he is alone", which was shown on the Force's Ethics Corner.

The theme of the ninth round of the workshops is "Fairness, impartiality and compassion in all our dealings" while the key message is "to treat others the way you would like to be treated". The participants were reminded of the need to apply the Force Values in real-life situations, with integrity being crucial to everything officers do. The participants welcomed the free flow of ideas and the sharing of experience in the workshop.

The LTV Workshop Programme was introduced in 1997 following the publication of the Force's Vision, Common Purpose and Values. The Workshops Wave IX for Superintendent cadre has commenced, and will be followed by workshops for the Inspectorate cadre and Junior Police Officer cadre.
