Commissioner Lo Wai-chung presented letters to 10 police officers on January 19, confirming their promotions to Senior Assistant Commissioner (SACP), Assistant Commissioner (ACP) and Chief Superintendent (CSP).

Heading the promotion list is Mr Li Chi-hang, promoted to SACP. Ms Cheung Ching, Mr Patrick Laidler and Mr Mak Chin-ho have been promoted to ACP while Mrs Mak Lau Wai-mun, Mr Ho Kai-hin, Mr Lau Kit-man, Ms Wong Siu-hing, Ms Chiu Wai-po and Ms Chiu Wing-lan have been promoted to CSP.
