The Police Snooker Team emerged as the first runner-up in the 10th Disciplined Forces Snooker Competition while Police Constable Au Cheun-tung secured the third runner-up position in an individual event. The month-long competition was hosted by the Force with an aim to encouraging snooker players to keep up their standards and to promote sports spirit among the disciplined forces.


After a series of close matches amongst the Police Force, the Correctional Services Department, the Customs and Excise Department, the Fire Services Department (FSD) and the Immigration Department (ImmD) at the Police Sports and Recreation Club from mid-November, 2017, ImmD triumphed in the competition whilst FSD's players won two top awards in individual events. Chairman of the Police Sports Council, Mr Cheuk Hau-yip presented the trophies to the winners.
