The Knowledge Management (KM) team of Marine Region ran a Knowledge Café (Marine Policing) on the Theoretical Knowledge of Marine Engineering Related Issues at the Marine Regional Headquarters on January 12, with over 100 frontline officers attending the event.


Assistant Force Training Officer (Engineering) of the Marine Police Training School Chiu Kam-wah, who had acquired professional engineering knowledge in the shipping industry for many years before he joined the Force, explained to the attendees the theoretical knowledge of marine engineering matters. In addition, he shared his observations as a former member of the Force Promotion Assessment Team to help the attendees to better prepare themselves for the promotion exercise.


The seminar provided a platform to raise the attendees' efficiency and enhance their techniques in the execution of engineering duties on police launches/vessels.
