A five-member delegation of the Operations Wing visited the Indonesian National Police from February 27 to March 2 to exchange knowledge and experience on counter terrorism (CT). Led by Deputy Commandant of the Police Tactical Unit Headquarters (PTU HQ) Chan Kin-kwok, the delegation included a Superintendent from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau, a Chief Inspector (CIP) from the Police Public Engagement Office, an Acting CIP from the PTU HQ and an Inspector from the Counter Terrorism Response Unit.

The delegates discussed with representatives from the Indonesian CT units, Detachment 88 and the Mobile Brigade Corps, about CT strategies, intelligence mechanism, application of tactics, as well as equipment and weapons. The Indonesian officers also showed them their tactical equipment relating to CT.

The visit provided a solid opportunity for the Force delegates to establish rapport with their Indonesian counterparts at both commanding and working levels.
