At the invitation of Lingnan University, the Police Community Relations Office of Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) held a seminar on "Laws of Hong Kong and Crime Prevention" in the university on January 12 to help its exchange students familiarise with local security laws.

Commander of Patrol Sub-Unit 3 of Tuen Mun Division Lau Siu-po briefed some 120 students about the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, road safety regulations, immigration guidelines as well as the prevention of theft, technology crime and telephone deception.

Apart from distributing copies of a leaflet on crime prevention, officers introduced the website and mobile applications of the Force to encourage the students to browse police information to enhance their crime prevention awareness.
