Railway District (RAILDIST) hosted a Crime Prevention Day under Project RAILWATCH with the Police Community Relations Offices of Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, Kwai Tsing and Shatin Districts on January 27. The project aimed to invite secondary school students, who are RAILWATCHERs, to disseminate fight crime messages.

Led by RAILDIST's RAILWATCH ambassadors and staff of the MTR Corporation, the students distributed crime prevention leaflets at six MTR stations respectively and visited their control rooms. The event encouraged the students to help the Force combat crime, and boosted their rail safety awareness.

On the same day, RAILDIST set up a game booth in the Fight Crime Carnival 2018, organised by Sau Mau Ping District at Telford Plaza in Kowloon Bay. The booth aimed to encourage young people to work together with the Police to fight crime.
