The "Kwai Tsing Outstanding JPC Award Presentation Ceremony 2017/2018 cum District Community Engagement Day" was held at Kwai Chung Police Station on February 27. A large number of community partners, including District Councillors, members of District Fight Crime Committee, Junior Police Call (JPC) Honorary Presidents, principals, officials from the Home Affairs Department and non-ethnic Chinese leaders, attended the event.

Kwai Tsing District (KWTDIST) Commander Lau Kit-man thanked the community partners for their input to the 2018 KWTDIST Action Plan. He expressed gratitude to the Honorary Presidents for their support to the JPC, adding that the KWTDIST JPC members have excelled in sports activities. He told the audience that the overall crime rate in KWTDIST had dropped last year and the crime detection rate had increased.

All the guests enjoyed the stage performance. The event offered a good opportunity for officers to garner support from the community partners.
