Traffic Branch Headquarters (TBHQ) held a leadership training camp in conjunction with the Hong Kong Road Safety Association (HKRSA) for the first time in JPC@Pat Heung on April 4 and 5. Fifty-five members of Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (HKRSP) attended the training camp.

Officiating at the opening ceremony were Assistant Commissioner (Support) Lam Hiu-tong, Commissioner of HKRSP Dr Hung Wai-man and Chairman of HKRSA Dr Liu Kai-ming. Ms Lam encouraged the participants to make every endeavour to excel their talents.

The participants included 17 Youth Road Safety Ambassadors of Project Angel. These ambassadors acted as group leaders to guide junior HKRSP members in the training camp. They were selected by the HKRSA to attend a series of workshops and courses run by TBHQ under Project Angel. The project was co-ordinated by Superintendent (Administration) of TBHQ Tsang Moon-lun to gloom the ambassadors as role models in promoting road safety.
