Two victims presented pennants and a souvenir to Kowloon City District (KCDIST) and the Emergency Unit of Kowloon West (EU KW) on March 16, praising officers' professionalism in detecting a criminal damage case and a case of obtaining property by deception.

In February this year, EU KW officers saw a man damaging a publicity banner of Kowloon City District Councillor Dr Cheng Lee-ming with a knife and they immediately ran after the man. Officers of Patrol Sub-Unit 1 of Kowloon City Division, who were patrolling in the vicinity, helped to chase the man. They eventually intercepted and arrested the culprit.

On the other hand, District Investigation Team 8 of KCDIST promptly detected a deception case in connection with a car purchase.
