A team of 22 women players from the Hong Kong Police Dragon Boat Club (HKPDBC) joined the women Standard Boat category of the Stanley Dragon Boat Warm-up Races 2018 on May 26. This was the first time that HKPDBC sent a team of 20-plus women players to take part in the standard boat race.

The players came from various units. Some of them were novices who had just graduated from the Police College. The players started training months ago at Marine North Division Operational Base. With the faith of "One Boat, One Heart", the woman players demonstrated strong team spirit and strength. They entered the ladies' final and won the fifth runner-up prize. The players were very excited and looked forward to achieving good results in other races.
