Director of Hong Kong Police College Lau Chi-wai led Superintendent of the Administration and Support Division Sum Ching-fun and Chief Inspector from the Learning Technologies Division Chung Chi-chuen to attend the 21st INTERPOL Police Training Symposium from June 26 to 28 in Asan, the Republic of Korea.


The event was co-hosted by the INTERPOL and the Korean National Police Agency on the theme of the "Architecture of Global Law Enforcement Training". At one of the sessions, Lau Chi-wai delivered a presentation on "Embracing Technologies in Training", outlining the development and application of e-Technologies in Police training in Hong Kong.


The symposium was one of the world's leading law enforcement training events, attracting the attendance of senior law enforcement officers and academics from more than 50 countries. It provided a platform for the participants to exchange their insights, lessons learned and best practices regarding the development and implementation of law enforcement training initiatives. With the delegates' active participation, the symposium was concluded with fruitful results.
