Google representative shares work practices


Head of New Business Sales in Greater China and South Korea of Google Mr Raymond Choo was invited to give a sharing session of the Beyond Boundaries Learning Series at the Police Headquarters on June 29. The session was organised by Force Knowledge Management Champion (Good Practices) Alice Lee.


Mr Choo spoke to over 50 officers from land and marine regions on how Google motivates teams around the world to achieve organisational goals. He stressed that Google has always attached importance to "cultural innovation", and has been applying the "Five Principles of Innovation" for cultivating teamwork. These principles are "Focus on User Needs", "Startup Mind", "Share Everything", "Data, not Opinions" and "Let People Pursue their Dreams".


The participants were inspired by Google's technological expertise, user-oriented approach and concept of sharing information within the organisation. This motivated the participants to continue to provide exemplary service to the public of Hong Kong.
