The Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB) disseminated fight crime messages by deploying two "Senior Police Call (SPC) Fight Crime Vigour Publicity Trucks" to 40 locations across the territory in a promotion campaign from August 1 to 10.

In view of recent crime trends and traffic accidents, the trucks promoted the themes of anti-deception and road safety. SPC members distributed publicity leaflets to members of the public, especially senior citizens, at different stops. They reminded the public to follow traffic regulations, beware of deception, stay calm and call the Anti-Deception Coordination Centre hotline (18222) when they receive suspicious calls or emails. In addition, thematic computer games and information booths were available on the trucks for visitors to gain a better understanding of the themes of the campaign.

The "SPC Fight Crime Vigour Publicity Trucks" were launched by PPRB in 2015 to promote the messages of anti-crime, anti-deception and road safety to the public, in particular to the elderly. For details, please visit the Facebook page of SPC.
