Kwai Tsing District (KWTDIST) ran a crime prevention workshop cum reception at Kwai Chung Police Station on August 17 to enhance communication and partnership with managerial executives of 10 hotels.


Officers from the Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories South shared anti-crime messages with the hotel executives at the workshop. KWTDIST officers also encouraged the executives to provide crime information to the Police.


Meanwhile, KWTDIST Commander Lau Kit-man presented appreciation letters to one of the hotel partners for assisting the Police in the detection of three drug cases in the hotel. Eighteen culprits were arrested for drug related offences and over 1 400 grammes of drugs valued at about $1.5 million were seized.
