To prepare for the launch of Wave IX of the Living-the-Values (LTV) Workshops for Junior Police Officers (JPOs), the Service Quality Wing conducted five half-day training sessions for facilitators identified by Major Formations.

Over 160 facilitators attended the training sessions. They were advised on how best to conduct workshops in their Formations, and were guided on how to engage their audience and encourage participation in the workshops.

The training materials have been enhanced for the JPO workshops by incorporating the feedback on the Superintendent and Inspectorate Cadre workshops held earlier. More than 90 per cent of the participants of the Superintendent Cadre workshops agreed that the objectives of Wave IX of the LTV Workshops were achieved, and over 90 per cent of the attendees of the Inspectorate Cadre workshops graded the content and design of their workshops excellent or very good.

Wave IX of the LTV Workshops for the Superintendent Cadre commenced last November while that for the Inspectorate Cadre were concluded this August. The workshops for the JPO Cadre are scheduled to complete in September next year.
