At the invitation of Oxfam Hong Kong, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Police Sports Council (HKPSC) Mr Cheuk Hau-yip presented certificates of completion to early runners of Oxfam Trailwalker 2018 on November 17. Among the awardees were representatives of the Police Adventure Club (PAC).


The Oxfam Trailwalker 2018 was a fundraising hiking event held from November 16 to 18. The participants formed teams of four to complete the 100-kilometre MacLehose Trail from Sai Kung to Yuen Long within 48 hours.


Most of the teams that completed the journey in the early morning of November 17 were elites from government departments and private enterprises. The PAC team, comprising mainly officers from the Airport Security Unit, completed the journey in 19 hours 44 minutes. They received a certificate of completion from Mr Cheuk. He appreciated the PAC team members for their perseverance and team spirit, and thanked the PAC for their efforts in promoting adventure activities.
