Officers of the Railway Response Team won the first-runner up title in the Corporate Team Relay at the "Seventh SHKP Vertical Run for Charity – Race to Hong Kong ICC" on December 2. Railway District (RAILDIST) Headquarters also captured the second runner-up position in the Open Team Relay in the race.

With the full support of a number of Junior Police Call Honorary Presidents from Tseung Kwan O District and Sau Mau Ping District, RAILDIST raised over $60,000 for the Community Chest of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service to support underprivileged children and youth work.
