Thirty-five elite swimmers from the Police Swimming Club took six gold, 10 silver and 17 bronze medals in the annual Long Course Masters Swimming Championships. The event was organised by the Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association on November 25.

The Police Swimming Club invited a number of swimmers who performed well in the Force Swimming Gala in September to join the club. After weeks of training and team building, the new crop of swimmers achieved outstanding results in both relay and individual races in the Long Course Masters Swimming Championships. The new and existing members competed with representatives from top swimming clubs and won medals in races of different age groups.

Reviewing the performance of the Force swimming team this year, Chairman of the Police Swimming Club Mr Ho Ka-fei commended the team members for their achievements in various tournaments. He hoped they would continue to strive for the best in the coming year.
