Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chiu Wai-yin, Director of Personnel and Training Li Kin-fai and Acting Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Chiu Wing-lan renewed acquaintance and friendship with about 770 members of the Hong Kong Police Old Comrades' Association and the Hong Kong Marine Police Retirees' Association at reunion luncheons at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on December 31, 2018 and January 16, 2019 respectively.

Chiu Wai-yin thanked executive members of the two retirees' associations for organising many healthy and recreational activities to enrich the life of the retired comrades and provide a platform for them to keep in touch. She also appreciated their efforts to show concern to senior members, adding that the Care Group was established to contact and visit them regularly.

With the staunch support of the chairmen and executive members of the two retirees' associations, the Force Management initiated the luncheons on the subsidy of the Police Welfare Fund. The participants included some retirees aged over 90 and newly retired comrades. All participants enjoyed the luncheons and looked forward to the next reunion.
