Consul-General of Kuwait to Hong Kong Mr Salah Alsaif paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Lo Wai-chung on February 1.

They discussed a number of issues, including the overall crime trend, strategies for combating cross-boundary crime, and direction of collaboration. They also expressed hope to forge a closer partnership with a view to maintaining a stable law and order situation in their respective jurisdictions.

The visit enabled Mr Alsaif to gain a better understanding of the Force, and laid a solid foundation for enhanced collaboration between Hong Kong and Kuwaiti police forces.
