With the arrangements made by Crime Wing Headquarters, Chief Inspector Wong Chun-yip led a delegation, comprising two Inspectors, two Sergeants and 10 Police Constables from various District Investigation Teams (DITs), to Seoul in Korea for a study visit between January 14 and 17.

The delegates called on the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency and the Korea Police Investigation Academy to exchange views and experience with local detectives on criminal investigation and evidence collection at crime scenes. The delegation also visited a local police station. Korean frontline officers showed the delegates their equipment and tools such as Taser stun guns, an e-statement submission system as well as a multi-functional e-notebook which could instantly access various government departments' systems. The delegates broadened their horizons and benefited a lot from the visit.
