Traffic Hong Kong Island (HKI) and Western District co-organised an integrity forum at the Independent Commission Against Corruption Headquarters (ICAC HQs) on April 26 with the support of the Regional Office (Hong Kong West/Islands) of the Community Relations Department of the ICAC. Sixty-five Force members from four police districts as well as the Crime, Operations, Administration and Traffic Formations in HKI took part in the event.

The forum consisted of two sessions. The first session focused on a study of cases about monetary benefits and hospitality, and explored relevant legislation. The participants responded enthusiastically in a question and answer session. This increased their understanding of anti-corruption laws and the impact of misconduct. In the second session, the participants visited the Exhibition Hall of the ICAC to learn more about its history, scope of work and investigation facilities.

The event enabled the participants to gain a better understanding of the prevention of corruption and misconduct, and boost their confidence in maintaining the integrity of the Force and themselves. This would help maintain public confidence in the Force.
