Western District (WDIST) launched an Anti-beach Theft Campaign at Repulse Bay Beach on August 3 with the support of Senior Police Call (SPC) and Junior Police Call (JPC) members. The campaign, with the slogan of "Keep An Eye On Your Property", aims to keep beaches safe for both local residents and visitors.


Officiating at the launching ceremony were Assistant District Officer (Southern) Ms Cheng Wai-sum, Chairman of Southern District Fight Crime Committee (SDFCC) Professor Chan Yuk-kit, Mr Hinson Chan from WDIST SPC Honorary Presidents Council, SDFCC members Mr Mak Chi-yan and Mr Chow Seung-man, as well as WDIST Police Community Relations Officer Yu Kong.


Following the launching ceremony, the guests, accompanied by SPC and JPC members, distributed souvenirs and leaflets to beachgoers to remind them to take care of their belongings while enjoying summer activities.
